La vie en rose in Paris - Day 1

Long time, no see....again! I'm sorry! I don't know if you even want to read something about Paris anymore but I will blog about it anyways ;D
So last month was the Street Fashion Europe event in Paris. This year it was called La vie en rose, last year it was Enchanted in London. Because of my new job, I wasn't able to get a day off so we (Aimee, Cindy, her fiancé and I) drove to Paris on Friday evening (Feb. 20th) We arrived really late although we were lucky and had no traffic jams. Next day we had to get up early because we had VIP/ Valentine tickets and the entrance started at 10 o'clock! When we arrived, there were already many girls waiting in line. It's always a nice picture to see so many beautiful girls in one spot! Cindy and I were one of the first Valentine ticket holders to enter the venue (we also got ticket no. 1 and 2, haha but that didn't matter) and looked for the Triple Fortune bonnets... woaah soooo many! In all the colors you can imagine. Cindy thought about buying one but couldn't decide. Next we looked for the evil live bags. I got the one and only heart bag in pink. YEEEESSS! My first light pink Lolita bag! After all this time, can you imagine? I was/ am soooo happy! They also had gold, beige, black... wanted all of them ;_; I had the feeling that the shopping stalls were much better than last year because... I bought much more, haha! I also bought a necklace from Li-Paro and the Lolita necklace from Syrup. I was thinking about getting a Grimoire dress or socks or.... geeeeeeez! Couldn't handle all the cool stuff! We strolled around and ate the delicious food. OMG! It was sooooo good! How to make me happy? Give me something delicious to eat! I can get really grumpy if I can't get anything to eat :D We checked our goodie bags and found many cool things. A calendar, Baby buttons, post cards, nail stickers etc. I really liked the things they put in the goodie bags ♥
I also took a photo together with Masumi Kanoh and got her autograph and talked with other guests. I'd say Juliette et Justine was a big thing this year! I saw many girls wearing their dresses. Last year the inofficial theme was: BIG headdresses. This year there were many veils (wedding theme) and 3F bonnets (of course) Then the program started. Unfortunately it was still very loud during the Q&A because many guests were still shopping and chatting. Although I'm not a huge fan of fashion shows at Lolita events, I liked both of them. The brand that participated had beautiful clothes!  When BABI's talk (designer of 3F) started we got so thirsty and got something to drink at a supermarket. But the girls I talked with later, said that it was very interesting! Then...the raffle. Oh my, I'm not lucky when it comes to raffles BUT "1" was my lucky number that day. I got a necklace from Sweet & Tiny and a hat from Promise of Nostalgica!! I could't believe it. I loved the stuff from Sweet & Tiny but I already bought two necklaces that day. But I won one.. so much better! And the PoN hat was made of me (I'm sure!). The color combination is just my thing. Cindy won a hat and Aimee won earrings at the raffle but unfortunately the hat wasn't Cindy's style and Aimee has tunnels so earrings are nothing she can wear :(

The stuff I got and bought that day ♥
Our feet hurt like hell but we still managed to go to L'arc de triomphe which was nearby and took some pictures. Later we met up with Sarah and ate burgers in a 50s style diner called "Happy Days Diner" and yes... this was a happy day!
We also made a video about it!
Thank you Street Fashion Europe for organizing this wonderful event ♥ I enjoyed it a lot!

Last thing I want to show you is Cindy's and my twin outfits.
Dress, socks, necklace: Angelic Pretty
Blouse and headdress: Taobao (forgot the shop names, sorry)
Shoes: Bodyline
Bouquets: selfmade

Thanks for reading ♥

Candy Day Magic Christmas Tea Party

Hope you had wonderful holidays ♥ I celebrated Christmas with my family and ate lots of good food. But now I want to show you pictures of the Candy Day Magical Christmas Tea Party which was one week ago on the 20th!
Cindy and I stayed at Oh Tralala's place together with Chokelate. It was soooo much fun ♥ We even made a video together. You can watch it here:
But let's come to the event report! The event was held in Seligenstadt. I've never been there. It's a very small and old city with a monastery where we had a guided tour. It was very interesting because it has a looooong history. Even the Dalai Lama visited Seligenstadt!
After the tour, the tea party itself started. When we entered the beautifully decorated room, I just saw the buffet. Cakes....soooo many cakes! And also hearty dishes like little sandwiches with ham and cheese. I was so sad I couldn't try everything ;_;

They girls made the decoration themselves. Plus, every guest got a beautiful card, a pin, homemade cookies and two markers in silver and gold.

This was my first dish. Buttercream cake (OMG, it was sooooooooo~ delicious) and baguette with parma ham. Everything I tasted was really good. When I get good food, I'm happy ^_^
We talked a lot and some of the girls who participated in the secret santa got their presents. I didn't participate, so no present for me :D After that, the Q&A with Nina aka Chokelate began. Her German is already so good, I was impressed. She talked about Lockshop and her modelling career. It was very interesting. She is only 24 and has done so much already!
Between the program, we chatted a lot and I was happy to see so many of the girls again. Most of them live quite far away, so we only see each other at occasions like this. We took some photos and then the outfit contest started, after this the raffle - and o-m-g (!) I won something. My raffle streak of bad luck has come to an end, I think. I won a wig by MyCostumes in black, so cool!!The last part of the program was a group picture. Awesome, right? So many pretty girls!

I had so much fun and I hope I can participate in this event again next year. Thanks to the girls of the Candy Day Frankfurt who organised this event. ♥

Last but not least my outfit:

I wore my Twinkle Carnival halter neck JSK in ivory with ivory and gold accessory.

Photo by Christian Rösch. I got asked a lot if this is my real hair. No, it's a wig with a half wig. It was quite heavy, yes :D

And together with Cindy who wore her Sugar Dream Dome :)

Did you have a Christmas/ holiday themed Lolita event in your community? Let me know in the comments ♥

Candy Day in Rothenburg

Part 2 of my Lolita weekend report in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Bavaria). We met at the market place and maaaany people asked us the usual questions, took photos etc. Some even knew us from the newspaper article. We were divided in two groups and had a guided tour through the city. I didn't find it that interesting. I prefer guided tours through castles where you learn something about the people who lived there and not the architecture for example. But there were some interesting facts and we saw many beautiful places.

Isn't it cute? The whole historic center is landmarked and so the buildings all look so pretty ♥
Cindy, Aimee and me
After the tour was over, we visited the Käthe Wohlfahrt christmas shop but I was absolutely not in the mood for christmas music and decoration. Aimee found a super pretty rocking horse, could be from Angelic Pretty, right? Meanwhile, I took a seat at the hotel where we ate lunch:

My camera isn't good enough to take decent pictures of the food at bad light so here is the menu. The illustration on the postcard was done by Tentaclething. She is so talented! There was also an outfit contest and Natalie, a girl who sat next to me, won with her awesome classic coordinate! She deserved it ♥ There was also a raffle and OMG!! I won something again. I broke the curse somehow. I won the Juliette et Justine catalogue with the Rothenburg pics, so cool!

This is a picture of all I got from the whole weekend! ♥♥♥♥

After the lunch we took photos. Some of the pictures are done by ME. Fotografie, Freitagsgasse 1, 98617 Meiningen. You can identify them because of the ME watermark.

Our group picture ♥ Again, everyone looked so pretty!
Cindy and I wore our pefect Romantic Rose Letter coordinate. Perfect because we twinned every little detail (except for an underskirt :D)

dress + socks: Angelic Pretty * bags: Loris * blouse: The Floral Notebook * bonnets: made my me

Our matching rings by Baby! Cindy gave the silver one to me as a birthday present!

Like the day before, there were other girls wearing RRL. So we took a group picture together.

You can click on the group pictures for a better view! Ami, Lisa, May, Cindy and me

I enjoyed the day a lot but we had to leave quite early because we were afraid of more traffic jams. I had to work the next day but it took two hours less than two days before! Phew, so I was already home at 10 o'clock (I suspected to be at home after midnight..)

My conclusion of the weekend: It was aweeeeesome!! The people are awesome, the program was good, the food was delicious and I had much fun. I'm sad some of the cool people live far away from me but it's even more fun to hang out with them at such an event. Looking forward to next year ♥

Lacebook Tea Party in Rothenburg

Before it's getting too late again, I post the first part of the Rothenburg ob der Tauber weekend. Beware, it's picture heavy but I want to show you everything ♥ These are just my and Cindy's pictures. The official photos will follow.
Last weekend, the lovely Oh Tralala from Lacebook and Harly from Candy Day Frankfurt organized a tea party together in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Bavaria) at the beautiful Wildbad. It was much fun to help out with decorating the rooms and see what it's like to organize such a big event. The location was breathtaking, we had the Rococo hall.

The ceiling was beautiful, the windows were huge and we had a lovely balcony.

We decorated the tables. Here is what it looked like before the others came.

Look at these cute napkins with Peter Rabbit!

Look at the delicious food! Trust me, when I say that it was delicious!! We had a small special cake as a Thank You from Oh Tralala. Look how pretty it is! Raspberry flavor ♥

After this, there was a medieval dance lesson with Sina. It was so much fun looking at them! They learned sooo fast and it looked quite professional. I took the time to take a few pictures and talk with all the people I rarely meet. Then the stalls opened and the outfist contest winner was announced. She absolutely deserved it. The girl who won wears Lolita since October 2013 and wow.. she looked perfect! Never thought she is so "new" to the scene. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of her. Maybe I can show you one later if she's okay with it.

There were accessory from Vampire Symphony, Lorina Liddell, Mycostumes and so on! After this was more free time. I really liked this. At other events, the schedule is very packed and you don't have enough time to chat but this time it was just perfect! I enjoyed it a lot!

My travel group (still at the hotel)

Cindy and me but unfortunately the cellphone quality is not so good
Cutie Aimee with her Chess Chocolate coord. She was unsure about the bonnet but looked soooo cute in it!

Cindy in pink (like always :D) with her awesome Triple fortune bonnet.

And me :) I am wearing my Princess Victoria Onepiece by Angelic Pretty, Victoria Afternoon socks by Baby and shoes by Baroque! The headdress is selfmade. Hope I can show you more and better pictures soon.

So my conclusion of the day:
It was AWESOME!!
Beautiful location: check
Awesome people: check
Yummy food: check

Hope there will be more events like this in the next years! So looking forward to it!

Dokomi 2014 // International Lolita Day

This year, I visted the Dokomi again on Saturday. You can read my event report from last year here. It was Internation Lolita Day, too!! I was part of the fashion show again, the theme was "fairytales". We had a Maleficent (Gothic Lolita), Sindbad (Sailor Lolita), Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty etc...everyone had accessory matching to the outfit like a spindle, apple, raven and so on. It was my favorite fashion show I participated in! Cindy and I twinned our Mary Bell dresses by Innocent World - we were fairies! This sounds a bit costumey but we only wore our wings for the fashion show.

This was my outfit. Unfortunately, I don't have proper outfit pics for both of us but we are planning to wear this again in the near future (without wings or magic wand ;D) and take pretty pictures.
By the way, you can see the whole fashion show HERE on Youtube.
We tried to see as much as possible from the convention but we failed.. there was just too much! We shopped a bit and visited the Lucky Chocolate Maid Café that we missed in the last years because it's always so crowded there >_<

Me with Maid Luna and Maid May ♥ May is also a Lolita and Luna will start with Lolita fashion, too ♥ They both have super awesome cute bengal cats :3

With Maid Riina who is sooooo cute, too! She doesn't wear Lolita herself but loves the fashion, too. The girls are three of my favorite maids from the café!

I got a vanilla milk there and  some strawberry cake, it was delicious! The other food at the convention wasn't so tasty.. I ate "crispy" karaage and they weren't crispy at all.. yuck!!
It was a very hot day, so we didn't go outside but inside was enough to explore. I wish I had visited the convention again on Sunday but it was my birthday and my parents came to visit me.

Our only twin picture but I really like it. We both wear our "walking shoes" :D On long days, I wear flats for walking around and have "photo shoes" in my bag when we take photoshoots. For this picture, we didn't change them ^^"
Here is what I got at the convention:
 photo 10320430_696146443780477_8693028502_zps496fa261.jpg
Innocent World socks from ergi! I was so happy that they came to Düsseldorf! I also bought Baroque shoes from them but got them shipped later. A Mameshiba plushie because there wasn't any merchandise except for t-shirts at the concert. The moon crisis Gashapon brooch and Sailor Moon and Luna/Artemis Gashapons. I wanted to have all of them but this would have been to much >_<

It was a very lovely day altough I had to get up very early and the way home was a bit stressful, too but the convention itself and all the beautiful people I met were awesome as always. I'm so sad I didn't take more photos of everyone :(

Japan Day 2014

Last Saturday, there was the annual Japan Day in Düsseldorf. It was the 10th time for me visiting this event :) It's always a very crowded and stressful event but it's always in my agenda, there's no way NOT visiting the JDay :D

I excuse myself beforehand for my choice of shoes. I had my real shoes for the outfit in my bag the whole time. I just put them on for a few photos at the end of the day. My feet would have hurt too much with them. So I only wear flats on all the pictures ^^"

We met up at the main station where we met May, who is a maid in the Lucky Chocolate Maid Café.

The maids had a performance on the main stage later! Of course we watched it, it was super cute, you can watch it here. (but beware: the sound is awful D:)
Then we headed to Space Burgers where we wanted to eat but on our way, we met several people, for example the lovely Lolitas from Saarland.

We chose the burger restaurant because the stalls at the Japan Day are always sooo crowded and very expensive and Aimee isn't a big fan of Japanese food, so American style burgers for us :)
Then we entered the area of the Japan Day and watched the Taiko Kids and maid dance on the main stage. It was beautiful weather, the sun was shining, for some people it was already too hot but for me it was perfect! Last year it was raining some time but this time we had much luck ♥
After that we met many other friends and people we barely see. I can't upload all the photos, it would be too much, so here are just some ^_^

With Cindy, Laura in an Amnesia cosplay, Alina, Ina, Laura and Carmen

Again with Cindy and Alina and Pingu-chan, Cindy's new sidekick :D She bought it at one of the stalls :)

It was sooo good to meet all the people, I was very happy about it! So sad we are spread all over Germany but this is why I love events like this :)

Like every year, it was very crowded but I had the feeling it was better than last year. Maybe because all the people sat on the meadows and enjoyed the sun instead of visting the stalls.

This is Reika, a very famous cosplays from Japan. To be honest, I didn't know her before Japan Day, but many people I know adore her. You were able to take photos with her (10€ with instax) and get an autograph (2€) Because I don't hype her, I just took this paparazzi snapshot ^^"

This is my favorite picture from the day. Because my outfit was some mix of soldier and stewardess, I wanted to take a picture with these guys. They were bronies actually, so we called them broldiers :D

When the stalls closed, we used the last minutes before sundown to take some pictures but I don't have them until now. I hope, I can show them later. But I already got two pictures from a lovely girl we met the same time. Her nickname is Deelit.
<
It was the best Japan Day I ever had, and this was my 10th time visiting this event! The weather was pefect, I met almost all the people I like and wanted to see, I liked my outfit and I've seen the stalls and some shows at the stage. We played Attack on Titan cosplay bingo, too. Every time you see a AoT cosplay, you scream "BINGO!" I have no idea who won but we all had many points :D The Free Hugs signs don't seem to be out yet, there were maaaaany people holding them... I never understood this trend :D
So here is my outfit again: (picture by Kuno Liesegang but I edited it, too)

Outfit rundown:
dress: Metamorphose
socks: Alice and the Pirates
blouse: 69th department

hat/beret: selfmade (by my mom :3)
gloves: vintage (from my grandma :D)
jewelry: no name

Hope you liked it ^_^ Comments are always appreciated - thanks in advance ♥
