Gal Circles

The first time I heard about Gal Circles (should be around the end of 2006 or the beginning of 2007) I was very excited about forming a German circle. We officially did this in March 2007. It was cool having a "club" with people who have the same interests as you. We had a website and a board where we talked about all the news in the Gal fashion world etc. But we came from all over Germany and it was hard to do regular meet-ups since a few people were always talking about stuff but not doing it. This year, we disbanded *haha* Some of us had different intentions than the others. But it was the best thing we could do!

There are several gal-sas from everywhere around the world with really cute looking Gals who do big events and so on. I like watching the galleries and see what they are doing but now I think different about all the stuff.
Why do we form a club and give it a name? The Lolita community here in my area organizes much more events and meet ups and we don't have any name. Why should we? We meet up when we feel like having fun with our friends. If someone is not able to come, then it's totally ok.
In Gal-sas there is often a must (or better said: a pressure) to come to meet ups. Hm why?
Why should I give my circle of friends a special name and put up a website?
In my Lolita girlgroup (haha) are no members and you don't have to apply for being with us

Maybe it's just because I'm older now...

(Atm, I'm not able to got to work because I'm ill. Maybe I'm more motivated for writing blog entries because everything is sooooo boring!!)
